Hello Again! In the space I’m granted this time I would like to talk about a significant brand of shoes that has seduced my attention for the past few months, not only because we share names, but because of it’s unusual material and outrageous design, plastic! Yes readers, I’m talking about the Brazilian brand; Melissa, Plastic Shoes.
With over 60 million pair of shoes, hand-made or industrialized, each year; Melissa Plastic shoes has quickly escalated through the shoe industry, and has reaffirmed to the world that Brazilians do it ever! At least when it’s up to shoes.
Melissa Opened it’s door to the Market in 1971, founded in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and offers a different vision to the shoe lover, with a great variety of designs and a colorful presentation to the world.
With the Brazil 2014 FIFA World Cup, the popular shoe brand has taken advantaged and designed a line that goes from flip flops to plastic heels specially themed with the brazil world cup.
Not only the Brazilian brand has caught the attention of various Shoppers, but also of various designers! Yes folks, Melissa has made Collabs with numerous designers, in which we should highlight Lagerfeld, Vivienne Westwood & Jason Wu.
I became a fan of the plastic shoe myself, in which I own a mini collection of my own taste and color of this fantastic shoes! I find Melissa, Plastic dreams not only as an Ecologic shoe (which It is), but also as one of the most innovative, creative, and prestigious ideas that has been made into reality in this world. I find Plastic shoes not only confortable and affordable, but also exotic and Tasteful.
